Milk or not milk?

H1: Mummy, I want milk.

H1 has the habit of asking for milk just before she goes to bed. However, for the sake of dental hygiene, I would thus make diluted milk, very diluted milk.

Me: Here you go. Here is your milk or would you like mummy’s milk?

H1: (looking confused) But… I’m not a baby.

She did however give it a try after much coaxing. She was pretty shy about it. I offered her the bottle milk eventually.

H1: (sounding pek chek) Mummy, this is water not milk.

Both Mr K and I burst out laughing. H1 too.

*pek chek – irritated/ frustrated

I Will Protect Didi

H2 aka didi is 3.5 months old now and we have procrastinated long enough… It is time to place him in a car seat…

H1 was excited that she gets to sit beside didi and when didi cried after we placed him in the car seat…

H1 said, “I will protect didi.”

My little gal has grown.

I Will Protect You…

We saw two big dogs when we had a morning stroll at East Coast Park…

Me: Do you want to touch the doggies?

H1: Mummy, I’m scared. The doggies will bite.

As we got closer….

H1: Mummy, the doggies will bite you. I will protect you (accompanied with a hug).

Dear Baby,

Mummy will always protect you, didi and daddy.

Love you always, Mummy

Silly Mummy

Reading The Jungle Book to H1… and introduced the characters to her…

Me: There is a panther, bear, tiger and a kor kor.

H1: Silly Mummy (laughing cheekily)… not kor kor, is jie jie…

H1’s perception of a boy is one with short hair.

H1: Why jie jie never wear shirt? Never wear shirt cannot go gai gai…
