Hi! Welcome to My Little Butts. In Chinese, that would be 我(家)的小屁股s. The blog name is inspired by little Hazel, whom I sometimes affectionately calls 小屁股. She has always been around the 10th to 25th percentile of the growth chart – petite size, thus the nickname. My other 小屁股 is none other than my hubby, Mr K. He’s the 吃不肥 type, aka will never get fat no matter how much he eats (okay… maybe his tummy is growing a little now, probably due to lower metabolism rate), so he qualifies as a 小屁股 too.

I’m quite a perfectionist, and I’m often stressed by my goal to be the best wife and mummy, or rather to be the best that I can be which drives me crazy. Thus, this blog keeps me sane by allowing me to pen my thoughts, meet similar crazy people like me (we are not alone!), and maybe, I’ll be a lesser pain in the ass (esp. to Mr K).

Hmm… A little more about me. I’m Ivy from sunny Singapore. I have a very close knit family, consisting of 二十四孝 daddy & mummy, and 3 other beautiful sisters. I’m thankful to have them in my life and glad that they play a part in helping me to raise Hazel.

I met Mr K in 2006, got together in 2007, married legally in 2009, had our wedding banquet in 2011 and little Hazel in 2013. We are the complementary type of couple – different in personalities, interests, family culture, etc. We bicker a lot but at the end of the day, we know we love each other dearly.
